lyrics
Blasphemous meaning of my life, in hell and torment you shall arise.
Mistrust, stalk battle to halt outbreak of a misguided voice.
Into the void of oblivion , the suppressed building wall by wall.
Fear no evil, I’m here to keep you safe.
Don’t die, I want to see you suffer.
Let me feed on your pain when I burn you down.
Crawl back – back to where you belong.
An abstraction of the mind , your lost lord nowhere to be found.
I’m the executioner, sentence you to oblivion.
Our genesis is the pain you inflict , the destroyer of innocents.
I welcome you, priestess of destroyers, my patroness.
The sky opens , demons fall on earth.
Witches of light turn to dark.
I stand alone in my world.
It’s cold outside , when blood runs dry.
I hear the children calling your name.
See the women dance around through fire and flames.
Let‘s burn the witches , let’s burn them down.
Bring all who’s different to the pyre.
The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.
